I love the new 10.3. Thanks for developing it.
When I run Yast2 "Software Management" it opens windows to report it is doing various things with repositories. It opens and then closes lots of windows. Each time it opens a new window it takes the focus away from the window I am working in and I have to click my window to get back to work. Again and again. It seems to do this with both GTK and QT.
Are you running KDE? The "new window steals focus" problem is largely in the window manager. If you're running KDE, right click on any window title bar, and select "Configure Window behaviour", then go to Advanced, and raise the Focus Stealing Prevention Level (not too high, because then all new windows will open in the background :)
Could Yast open just one windows and display all its messages in that window?
It's a fair feature request. You can open a bugzilla entry for it and suggest it -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
