All I'm saying is that stylistics rules should be relatively relaxed in a casual discussion or help forum to allow people to communicate in whatever way they best can (with restrictions as I previously mentioned). I value style without substance is worthless, but equally, substance without style is ugly or unwanted. It starts here.
I doubt insulting tech people enhances the acceptance of your point of view. Substance without style may be ugly, (in your opinion), but it is also efficient. When someone posts here looking for answers they want those answers in the quickest and most efficient way. This isn't a casual discussion list. This is a high volume mutual tech support list. HTML formating adds nothing to that end. You have totally failed to make a convincing point here. You have failed to convince me that disallowing HTML turns any significant number of users off, or drives them away. Would you have been better able to do so if you used HTML? -- ----------JSA--------- Someone stole my tag line, so now I have this rental. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
