Has anyone tried this recently? I'm trying it out for the first time, and it seems a little dodgy in 11.2rc2. For instance, I can configure a device for pppoe, even if the rp-pppoe package isn't on the DVD image.
You don't need rp-pppoe for that. There's also kernel-based pppoe (modules pppoe and pppox IIRC).
alias char-major-144 pppox alias net-pf-24 pppoe
You need only the pppd with that.
Ah, thanks - I thought the rp-pppoe plugin module came with the rp-pppoe package. (Yast2 uses the plugin module). /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (6.9°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
