On 2008/02/12 16:00 (GMT+0100) Verner Kjærsgaard apparently typed:
- when one starts google earth, it complains (but otherwise runs just fine) that a certain bitstrema vera font is missing. It provides a link from where one may download the fonts.
Done so, unpacked into a directory now containing af pile of fonts.
Now, where does one learn how-to install those darned fonts? Nowhere, just nowhere, can I find "install fonts" or something similar on my SuSE10.3 system?
Where can I read about how-to get these fonts recognized?
Just ignore the message. You don't need Vera if you have DejaVu fonts, which are a currently developed superset of Vera, which is no longer developed. DejaVu is installed by default instead of Vera for the past several releases. -- "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
