I rebooted that kernel, and tried one hibernation, sucessfull. I saw a lot of messages going by that I had never seen - those could be captured with a serial port, I suppose.
I tried again - the messages can be stopped with ctrl-s, and read at will. pg-up/dn works, continue with ctrl-q. I can thus make a photo if needed, and anyway, those are the working time messages, I need those when it fails. Or perhaps I need both, I'll make a photo then. Using the serial port is possible but a nuisance. I need to connect my old computer, free space in the table for its keyboard, remember to power up the old machine first, and when fully running boot the main machine. And this for several days, till it crashes and I get the data, supposedly. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
