The servers at opensuse are down and are being replaced and the backup data has to be written back.
However, requests to the downed servers are being redirected to another site which may be overloaded causing your error message.

I have no idea who any redirections on openSUSE work. The only thing I do know is that you can look at the list of mirrors for oS and then alter the repos list in YaST to those you want to use. In something like K/Ubuntu you are able to allow the system find the best URL for your system updates.
