You don't set the timezone there, set it in Yast, System, date and time, where you will find Australian Capital Territory -Canberra
That's not really the point, is it? It's unfortunate that there are two searate lists of timezones but they aren't consistent. Also I was surprised to see the amount of work done by YaST in saving the change, from the linker cache, font settings, etc. Is this going to be made more efficient? (933MHz laptop!) One of the main reasons I got so upset with Mandrake/Mandriva and committed to migrate away was all their config tools were written in very slow Python and some of my machines took tens of minutes to make a minor change due to their slow CPUs.
