XFCE4 is missing from my kdm session types after upgrading to KDE3.2 How can I add it back. Thanks in advance.
I created a link from /usr/X11R6/bin/xfce to /usr/bin/startxfce4.
ln -s /usr/bin/startxfce4 /usr/X11R6/bin/xfce
Can't do xfce3 anymore. Since KDE3.2 the session management has disappeared from KDE Control Center, System Administration, Login Manager area. I don't know where to add XFce4 to the login manager menu choices
I thought you asked me about that the other day. At least I'm pretty sure I answered it. quick recipe: cd /opt/kde3/share/apps/kdm/sessions cp xfce.desktop xfce4.desktop Edit xfce4.desktop and change Exec= and TryExec= to startxfce4, and change the Name= to Xfce4 (or something) and you're done
