How do I change this behavior back to the other way? This does not get mounted using an entry in /etc/fstab so the settings for mounting USB media automatically must be somewhere else and they must be different than they were in 10.0.
So, why not put an entry in fstab? That way it will be set uo the way you want it when its pluged in.
Well, that would be fine for this drive probably but the behavior is not the way I like - it impacts other drives that I use to move data between other computers. Having automount working makes it easy for someone without root privileges to use the drives and move them easily between machines without having to mount/unmount them - just plugin, unplug. I'd still like the original behavior back.... -- Marc C.
