I guess it could, but I don't know other MUAs. What you basically need is a hook in the pager to attach your filter. But I'll leave that to those that know their MUA and will gladly include it :)
I will definitely look at it. kmail doesn't use a "pager" in that sense, so I suspect one would have to some coding. I still have to rewrite my previous hack. I've heard "envelope sender" a couple of times, but I've never heard a term for the From: address in the DATA section of the mail. Anyone?
