* Dominic Maraglia (dominic.maraglia@esd112.org) [020501 16:54]:
Is the PPC version basically exactly like the x86 version or are there major differences?
Not major differences once it's installed. Yast is Yast, booting is a little different (much nicer than on a x86 I think), and there really isn't much commercial software. Also, the one button mouse in X takes a little time to get to get used to but most people just map the middle and right buttons to function keys. Also, we only release it once per year now. Plus, the battery life is fantastic--with two batteries and no X I can keep my G3 running for at least 5-6 hours with normal workstation use and a wireless network card. You may want to ask over on suse-ppc though, -- -ckm
