I'm having a problem getting any mouse to work on my SuSE 9 box (desktop). Everything worked fine after the installation, but after a reboot it stopped working. I ran 'sax2 -a' to autodetect it, and it did and started working again, minus the wheel functionality. As a test, I installed a different wheel mouse to see if I could get the wheel to work. I couldn't get the new mouse to work at all so I went back to the old one. The original mouse doesn't work at all anymore, no matter what I do. The mouse I'm trying to get back to its original settings is a M$ Optical Wheel Mouse (USB). I tried copying the XFree86-suse9 file to XFree86, but it doesn't do anything. lsusb Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 002 Device 003: ID 045e:0040 Microsoft Corp. It used to work on this system, but I don't know what happened. I have hotplug running, and it does beep when I plug the mouse in while the system is on. Any help is greatly appreciated, Chris
