Last fall, my Thinkpad A20p installed SuSE 9.0 flawlessly. Sound, power management and screen display all seemed to be handled great. IBM has been committed to some level of supporting Linux on their laptops for quite a while - but I'm sure other brands work well too :) - Richard

Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive laptop that will work with SuSE 9.0? I need one fairly quickly and can't afford the time to have lots of problems getting it running. I need network and modem access.
It doesn't need to be a speed demon, just reliable.
