The developers clearly ask you for the changes you made to xorg.conf. You clearly refuse to provide that information.
If you actually read the bug report, specifically https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=205096#c6:
"It was a couple years ago, so I don't remember. I saved a copy of the good (my hand-edited version) of xorg.conf. Then, when the screen got hosed, I overwrote the new xorg.conf with my good copy, went back into level 5 and I was good."
So how do you get "refuse to provide that information"?
Because you know how to restore a hosed configuration, and you should be able to hose it by running sax2 again, according to comment 4. That would provide an opportunity for you to capture the defective xorg.conf to attach to the bug, along with your working xorg.conf. It's actually what https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=205096#c5 is looking for, even though it isn't stated explicitly. -- "Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
