If you need calibration software, it's likely to be pricey. Look at sites for open source software, and see what's there. But do first check the software you have to see if it does it.
http://www.argyllcms.com/ is the place for this information. Though one can easily loose his way. http://hoech.net/dispcalGUI/ is more friendlier in working with Argyll CMS commands. http://www.oyranos.org/ which works with KDE can provide some info as well. But nevertheless, one needs the hardware for a proper color management, else one can be sorry when he sees the prints in the case of photos.
