Some jpg photo's in an album were made with a false date. As the program I am working with sorts after date I would like to know how to alter the date of the file to a date of my choice.
You don't mention *which* date you want to change.... the date on the .jpg file itself or possibly the exif information within the file.
jhead would be a program to manipulate the exif information within the file.
Well, as a matter of fact, I did not know that there two dates. Nice to have a look into the internals of a jpeg file with jhead but why should I want to bother with the exif date? Are there programs which use this info? Thanks for the tip about jhead.
