Hi everyone,
my Yast crashes everytimes an i cannot use "rpm" anymore
i've also tried
rpm --rebuilddb
but it doesn't works How could i "recover" yast and the rpm database ? I would try and access yast from the command line, logged in as root of course.
If it still fails, I think it would be time to implement the rescue option from the install CD's or perhaps just upgrade the system from the CD's and choose only to install Yast. Otherwise 'man rpm' or 'man yast2' or google. What is the rpm database rebuild command you are using and are you logged in as a user or root? hope to help -- The Little Helper ======================================================================== Hylton Conacher - Linux user # 229959 at http://counter.li.org Currently using SuSE 9.0 Professional with KDE 3.1 Licenced Windows user ========================================================================
