Ok I have to machines and I am having trouble getting the two boxes to talk to each other. I saw on the linksys that there was a firmware update that may address these or similar issues.
What I was wondering is, is anyone using these and if so do you have any hints or comments about the router and about any potential need (or not) related to a firmware update?
TIA.

I have been using a Linksys 4 port DSL router for over 3 years without problems. One thing you need to do after you setup the router is then use it's IP address as the default route for all of your PC's and of course they all have to be in the same subnet. -- Ken Schneider unix user since 1989 linux user since 1994 SuSE user since 1998
