And this remains so for a while or is it just something temporary? With menus being slow, that isn't necessarily the application, but could be the overall windowing/GUI system. You don't see the same issue elsewhere, in firefox, in libreoffice, in gimp ?
Just this app, permanently (goes 0.5 up and down). At start, it uses less than 1 GB, and goes up over the days.
