Budget Linux compat. laser printer recommendations ?

My trusty old Laserjet III has finally died after years of faithful service. It's therefore time to replace it with the latest trendy model. I'm on a very tight budget so can any of you wonderful fellows recommend a cheap Linux compatible laser printer. I imagine even the crappest model on the market today can out perform my old Laserjet which I've been very happy with so I really don't need anything fancy, but it must be able to print full page graphics and be compatible with Linux and Windows.
