Just out of idle curiosity, where did you get that /255 thingy from? My first post clearly stated /24, and I thought I had corrected your error in my second post (well, checking it, I see that I did).
I mistakenly thought that 24 was the upper range of the last component of the IP address. I've seen the x.x.x.x/n notation but had forgotten about it. Paul
