Anybody still got a typewriter ? Didn't have these problems back then.
Sort of. I recall in Grad school we used a Terak (UCSDp) that printed to an IBM typewriter that had a metal ball that contained the characters. One could select a fonts in the document. The ball had to be changed for the needed font. The installed ball was detected. You had to have the right one. Or you needed to remove that font from the document. Needless to say, few people messed around with fonts. Life was considered too precious to waste on such activities... -- Roger Oberholtzer -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
