Hi all, I've got 8.0 up and running (at last) on one of my Beowulf's nodes. I've got alot of good things to say about it. But there are a couple of PIAs I need to ask about. First of all, just for fun I added a second HD to this node and tried to set it up as a RAID. It went so easy I wondered at first if I had done it right or not. Next I wanted to configure it for NFS. It was simple! This was the first time that I had no problem with NFS. The only PIA here is I set it up as a client only. Later I need to do the server side too. Now for the PIAs. First of all I can not get my mouse to work at the command line. I checked I have gpm installed. I have a PS/2 mouse. It works in Xwindows. But it seems as if YAST2 does not DO anything for gpm. Any ideas? The mouse is my only "big" PIA. I have two small ones. #1 how do I set up a screenmap? I can not find anything about it. #2 "hotplug"... I have a system with a HD tray. Right now when I want to change HDs. I have to turn the system off, change the HDs, go into BIOS and change the CHS. Using hotplug, can I do hot changes? If so, do I need to do any configuring for hotplug?
