What does it do? Is it worthwhile for me to find and install it?
You look it up at die.net and see what the man page says, of course! :) Actually, I have a meta-index. I submit this query to google: pinfo site:die.net And that query is coded into a form on my firefox home page, along with other forms for linux searches, wikipedia searches, CPAN searches etc. So what I really do is bring up a browser window, type 'pinfo' into a textbox and hit return.
