Hello all!
Is there a tool available to filter SPAM mail from Messenger and KMail?
KMail has filtering capabilities but I prefer running my own mailserver and using the RBL. On a recent SuSE box: - - Edit /etc/mail/linux.mc and uncomment the RBL lines ('dnsbl') - - m4 /etc/mail/linux.mc > /etc/sendmail.cf That's it, your mailserver will reject messages from known spamhosts. If you do get spam after you've enabled the RBL, report it to http://maps.vix.com/rbl/ - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE63Eg/+FOexA3koIgRApeqAKC8W9raKUDIWY42gH+ODku0MI5HxQCdHDy2 pCFV37WAaJtWUyMF5dFKsKk= =OV4u -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
