Planning on upgrading my 11.2 to 11.3 soon. Want to wipe the repos on my system so that 11.3 will install cleanly. Can't do it directly from 11.2 because at the present time I can't boot into it. (long story) but I can access all of the file systems.
So where can I find them? Or do I even need to worry about it?
/etc/zypp/repos.d
Are you sure 11.2 to 11.3 has more pluses than minuses for your hardware and needs? I've been on 11.0, and expect to upgrade to 11.2, not 11.3. The latter has KMS, and the fallout from that big architectural change still isn't close to done being cleaned up. -- Hi neighbor,
No, I'm not sure at all. Just thinking I need to keep up. 11.2 with KDE4 was/is not satisfactory to me at all. I use 11.0 with KDE3 as my "main" OS I just keep trying the "new improved" versions and find them lacking. Hope springs eternal you know. (as is said) Take care, and always consider your advice.
