In no way to I claim the lists are improperly setup. I do claim that compliant mail agents will respond to all when asked to. If the source agent of an email puts in a "reply-to" field, it is also compliant to use that field. I get multiple copies from some people and get single copies from others. If someone is directing an email at me, they will have the courtesy to make sure I'm in the To or Cc list, or I might miss it. It is not uncommon to filter email into personal and list email. Email that is addressed to the person (in addition to a list) will goto their personal folders, whereas email to a list will go to a list folder. I could just as easily filter email that comes to me *and a list*, into the bit-bucket as not needed, IF it bothered me so much as to complain to a list about it. But some people think that complaining to a list (about something they can solve themselves), is productive. Go figger. I much prefer to rely on myself than attempt to shame or coerce others into behaving a certain way....that's why I prefer to have options and prefer offering options that allow them to have what they want on their machine while I have what I want on mine.
