Hi everyone. My server here uses red hat. The service is too slow, is down for too long stretches of time and costs too much. Is it possible to use 7.3 to be our own server? Does anyone do it? All we want to do is serve web pages for our college, but they say we need a fixed ip and that costs. Must be a way around it no? Any advice really appreciated. I think that this is our only option. Our intranet works fine. is there more to it than that or is there a way of sticking our pages in /usr/local/httpd/htdocs like we do at the moment and pointing to internet rather than our local lan? When do you stop being a newbie? Cheers, Steve.
