Serial login...

Greetings! I'm having trouble on locating information for setting up a serial connection between two computers to log into a console. I normally telnet (ssh) into my SuSE 6.3 file server from my Windows 98 machine. Sometimes the network and/or access to that machine drops out for various reasons I'm still trying to track down. However, the local console is still active. Since I'm such a lazy bastard, I would like to run a serial cable from my Windows machine to log in rather than opening up the computer closet to access the local console. Any pointers on how to do this and/or web links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Christopher
