I think you should write a bugzilla precisely on that. Or two: one for the partitioner, about the colors, and another, a general enhancement request that they take into consideration the needs of the visually impaired. Perhaps they could create a configuration file so that if it exists applications use a diferent scheme easier on sight. If you just complain here, they will not see it. Another thing, it is generally a good idea to at least track the factory list, because the developer of the new partitioner asked there for the application to be tested.
