xgl and soo many gnome dependencies

      Hello 
 Why does xgl have so many gnome dependencies such as gstreamer and 
gnome-audio, why would a window manager need these. Being as I only use KDE I 
would really rather not have all of these extra dependencies for gnome. Is 
there a way around this and to not have to install these, thanks.
