Hi, Does it still load? The KMPs do not need to be updated for every kernel release when the kabi stays the same. If it does not load we need to see what is still broken. Ciao, Marcus On Sun, Nov 11, 2018 at 02:34:54AM +0100, Holger Jakob wrote:
It seems xtables-addons-kmp-default in update-OSS still is lacking behind the current patch level of kernel-default 4.12.14-lp150.12.25.1.
Is there any new to the issue? I don't see any bug reports related to this for Leap 15.0. Any recommendation where I can get a current package from?

This breaks xtables-geoip as module xt_geoip is not found in /lib/modules/4.12.14-lp150.12.16-default/
I have to downgrade to 12.13
A similar issue has been reported on 8 Aug 2018 for 12.10 so it seems to be a reoccurring issue.

Unfortunately due to comment that had absolutely nothing to do with original problem bug was classified incorrectly and so effectively ignored.
The problem was *not* that module required older kernel version, but
Warning: /lib/modules/4.12.14-lp150.11-default is inconsistent
which apparently prevented weak updates from working.
I am not sure what path forward you are suggesting. The bug you refer to was considered fixed and closed in August. Do we need a new bug opened now? This effectively prevents me from migrating from Leap 42.3 to Leap 15 since May.
