From my last mail regarding qmail + qmail-scanner + spamassassin + clamav + stuff, I have another problem with setuid perl. In qmail-scanner FAQ, I have to change permission in /usr/bin/suidperl to 4711, otherwise qmail-scanner will fail. But whenever I run SuSEconfig, it changes the permission back to 0755. So i have to change back to 4711 What should I do so whenever i run SuSEconfig, it wont change to 0755. Is there any problem if I give 4711 permission to /usr/bin/suidperl ?
Set them in /etc/permissions.local
Do not change the permissions of /usr/bin/suidperl, but of /usr/bin/sperl5.8.x The first is hardlinked to /usr/bin/perl, and setting setuid root will make any perl script setuid root ;) Ciao, Marcus
