After a new OS install on my laptop I wanted to sync firefox, as I always did, but I could not add the new browser the normal way. Sadly I had to open an account. Ok, I did. And then firefox was so polite to delete all my settings and bookmarks in my main computer and replace them with the default values of the new install (lucky me that I'm a paranoid backupper).
I use sync on several computers/operating systems, with both Firefox and Seamonkey. That problem never occurred for me. The only issue I came across is the new sync isn't compatible with Seamonkey, so I had to install an older version of FF, sync it and then update to the current version, which will then work with the old sync. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
