I have acroread installed and I can view any .pdf file. However, when I try to print I get the following:
Kprinter: WARNING: KFilterBase::findFilterByExtension : no filter found for text/plain
When you press OK the print job is cancelled and nothing occurs. There are no filters installed on this printer. I use CUPS for printing. I have not noticed any other applications with the same issue and I have reinstalled the driver in both KDE, SUSE YAST and via CUPS but get the same or similar results. Any ideas on troublshooting?? Thanks!
Using acroread (5.0) from the command line, I can view and print pdf documents. The cups packages I have installed - in case something is missing. cups-libs-1.1.20-103 cups-drivers-stp-1.1.20-60 cups-drivers-1.1.20-66.1 cups-devel-1.1.20-103 cups-client-1.1.20-103 cups-1.1.20-103 Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ....
