The writing was on the wall when WSL was included in Win10. With Satya Nadella as CEO, the benefit of opensource has been embraced more than ever by M$. For its benefit as well as the benefit of opensource generally. While I always view it with a skeptical eye, it, from what I have seen, has been much more of a win-win situation than anything else. I love to hate M$, but the number of rocks I've had to throw at it have been shrinking over the past few years. When windows has both a copy and selection buffer, we will know the marriage is complete :p -- David C.
