Is there anywhere where we can suggest solutions and apps/drivers that are missing?
Yes: send them to feedback@suse.de - one suggestion / wish per message, if possible. Our feedback team will gather these comments and forward them to the developers.
I'd personally like to see the following in 7.1:-
- Official Intel EtherExpress drivers (at least as an option)
Just to make sure: where can we find them? Aren't they included in the official kernel anyway?
- Better UDMA/ATA documentation (does it support ATA100 for example???)
Yes, it does, at least that is what Andre Hedrick told us :)
- More stickers :)
:)
"Lapel pin". Use a small gas torch to heat the end of the pin and press it into the front-panel of a SuSE Linux box.
They'll do the job until SuSE provide the holographic Tux/Geeko badges to replace the square badges on the generic PC cases.
Upon reflection, I suppose this would have made more sense than going at the front of my case with a torch! Oh well, I've wanted a full tower anyway. BTW, the Reiserfs may bounce back from power outages OK, but it's not worth a darn after a fire....... ;-) If only SuSE would provide bumper stickers. Pretty hard to get into trouble with them.....providing the vehicle is not moving, of course.....but that's a different story. -- TRBishop tb64710@ltec.net RLU # 12043 SuSE 7.0 Pro KDE2
