X locked up. No keyboard response except CAD. I was able to init 1 when CAD surfaced tty1, then back to init 3 and 5, but I can't log into X due to lack of space on /.
I have no idea what did it, and Google isn't being very helpful in finding a procedure to figure out what's wasting space. Since rug broke 1.5 weeks ago I haven't installed or updated anything. /var/log, /var/tmp and /tmp aren't responsible. Where else do I look, and for what?
OK, I missed this on first look in /var/log. /var/log/acpid was 981518K. Why did this happen, and how do I prevent it from happening again? -- "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8 NIV Team OS/2 ** Reg.
