Nevertheless you can add KDE3 opensuse build repo to your repos and install KDE3 from there:

Please do not provide direct links to the KDE:KDE3 repo to users who are unaware of its status. Use http://en.opensuse.org/KDE3 .
WHY? So now your telling Linux users they "can't" or "shouldn't" use something that's found on the openSUSE website... and/or relay this information to other users? If this is the case... THEN WHY IS IT ON THE WEBSITE - if it's off limits then REMOVE IT!!!
Sheesh, Curtis
P.S. Open source users historically don't respond well to edicts and mandates without cause.
You did not want to get it, right? Adding repos and installing packages from them can be harmful to your system. Thus each repo should have a context which informs the user before he adds it. If you do not inform the user but just supply the link, you failed him in case something goes wrong. If you supply the link to the wiki page instead, you did try to help him make an informed choice.
