When I try to open online update the module proceeds to the message "getting available server list from suse.com.de...." and then crashes. Where do I go to try to fix this? Should I re-install yast2 from the CD's? 8.0 system. Last night when I was trying online update I got a series of error messages referring to either corrupted files (update files) or GPG (??) not correct. Network does work as I can connect to web. Thanks for any suggestions Edit /etc/sysconfig/onlineupdate Set the foloowinf line to: YAST2_LOADFTPSERVER="no"
This will bypass that step.
You should have a file:
/etc/suseservers
That file contains the list of servers. If you don't have it I or
someone else can post it. Then try to do a YOU.
