Hi, All,
I have just relocated from California to Ashford, Kent, in the UK. The house where I am living has a BT internet account, and it seems from their advertising material that you have to have windows or mac to use a BT account.
Can anyone recommend an reliable, affordable ISP in this area that allows linux connections?
Well, they all (except AOL, of course) 'allow' Linux connections - you just won't get any help from them. Then again, you wouldn't get any 'help' beyond how to use DUN and Outlook anyway... Having said that, I have had no real problems with plus.net ( www.plus.net ) for the last year or so. Their customer service is swift and accurate, and they know their customers know what's what!
