what I can't have is sync of nntp/usenet forums.
When I don't use a news reader for some days, and I open it, all the messages since the last time are marked unread, even if I read them on other machine.
Ah, it is not possible. The nntp server does not keep information about what you read, so clients can not keep sync. It is each client which keeps track, and unless someone develops a client that can send that information to another client, it is impossible to sync them. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R.
