I've just read the recent thread on Samba, should I be looking at Samba to achieve my second objective of seeing other people's shared folders? Jethro

I'm working for awile at a company that has a small peer to peer windows network. Everyone logs on to the net accessing a shared modem on a Windows 98 machine. Can anyone give me some pointers as to what to read to get this set up so that I can access the modem. I'm using SuSE 7.0 (until 7.1 arrives of course).
I don't have my manual in the same country so I can't read that<grin>.
Also what should I read to setup access to shared folders on the LAN. I don't need to give access to directories on my computer.
TIA,
Jethro
