I am not able to access the "www.opensuse.org" web site. Using "www.opensuse.org" only produces, after a long delay, a "Problem loading page" message. I am using opensuse 11.1
If I change to another computer on my nat local network which is running opensuse 10.2 my access is ok.
Neither computers has any problems with access to say "www.w3.org" or many others.
Does "www.opensuse.org" web server have any blocking based on say mac address?
What mailing list is most appropriate to ask this question on?

it won't be of much help, but if things are as you're advertising (NAT'd local network, computer A works fine, B does not), then it's no sort of block (all the website gets at the end is your outside NAT IP, so it's the same for either machine. the MAC is unknown outside your LAN). are you sure the configs for the 2 machines are the same? e.g. name servers, order and domain searches in /etc/resolv.conf, entries in /etc/hosts, and how /etc/nsswitch.conf looks? no idea if this is the right mailing list, but it seems like a reasonable starting place. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
