Hi; After successfully updating my kernel to 2.4.10 I've lost SuSE's nice graphical bootup and shutdown sequence. Anyone know how to get it back (I'm running 7.2)? --

You need to edit the "/etc/inittab" file, and locate the following line: Initdefault:blah:blah change the number "3" to a number "5" That'll put you to the graphical login prompt That is what you meant, wasn't it??? --Thomas Adam
