ok, I have just fired up the 10.1 live DVD. First of all the good news :-) my scanner works :-)))) yippee at last. Rotation didn't work but I guess that is due to the amount of memory needed and this is the live disk.
What I did find puzzling is the fact that my monitor was not in the database. I have a 17" LG Electronics Studioworks 700s. It was in SuSe 10's database of monitors so why isn't it in 10.1? It's not as if it's a particularly old monitor. Any ideas? Pruning is good but this is a little drastic.
Try it in VESA mode. My Futura has never been in the database. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/ -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
