Ok, I have another unused machine here, I'll install Beagle there, together with some monitoring tools.
Sounds good to me; then everyone who irrationally hates Beagle will stop claiming it is broken.
I personally do not think that it's broken, but what I did experience in the past was a Beagle slowing down even a 3GHz quadcore machine significantly from time to another. One of the first things I did when installing a new Linux operating system was to nuke Beagle right from the start.
