Rich, I'm not a samba expert, but I am assuming that you have designated the
share on windows properly? In other words the read-write permissions are a
function of the windows share, not the computer mounting the share. Don't
know version of windows you are trying to share, but you should right click
on the share drive and under properties make sure the proper access has been
given, then whoever mounts that with the proper password should have read
and write permission. wayne
