Hello people...okok lets suppose that I want to install a package and it says that it needs a couple of libraries...where could I get them from? Is there a place in SuSE's FTP site that I can search??? Don't tell me ftp.suse.com because it is toooo general....any where else?
If you are using Yast you should be able to check dependencies with F5. Selecting 'auto' will select the needed packages if they are on your installation medium. Otherwise I remember an earlier posting pointing to http://www.rpmfind.net I hope that's what you're looking for. Tim P.S. The library is two blocks up from the post office :-) -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
