This fixed it. The ~/.mozilla directory had 2 setups for the same pop3
server, one appended with "-1". I moved Inbox to Inbox2, deleted the
index files and copied the /var/spool/mail/user file as ../../Inbox.
128 new messages were there on startup.
I renamed /var/spool/mail/user, then created a new one with zero length
with "touch user".
Now, after retrieving mail, all go to Mozilla Mail, and the spooler
file remains at zero length.
